Empowering Young Innovators Through Mentorship

At the heart of our journey this season was a simple belief: mentorship can transform curiosity into confidence. This belief came to life when we had the opportunity to mentor an all‑girls rookie robotics team from Kannya Vidhyalay School, guiding them from their very first introduction to robotics all the way to national‑level competition.

Our mentorship began with the basics—helping the students understand core concepts of robotics, electronics, and mechanical systems. From there, we worked closely with them on designing, building, programming, and testing their robot. Through regular hands‑on sessions, open troubleshooting discussions, and strategic planning, the team steadily grew more independent, resilient, and confident in their abilities.

The true highlight of this journey came at the National Chapter in the Robosports category. Competing against dozens of seasoned teams, these rookie students showcased remarkable technical skill and teamwork, ultimately securing an impressive 5th place overall. Their achievement stood as a powerful testament to what consistent guidance, encouragement, and belief in young talent can accomplish—especially in empowering girls to step boldly into the world of STEM.

Our commitment to mentorship extended beyond a single team. We also formally mentored two additional teams for the World Robot Olympiad (WRO), providing ongoing technical guidance, competition strategies, and problem‑solving support throughout their preparation. Along the way, we witnessed exceptional passion and potential in three students—Darsh, Aaron, and Reyaan. Their dedication and eagerness to learn stood out, and we were proud to welcome all three into our team.

Today, Darsh, Aaron, and Reyaan actively contribute across coding, engineering, and outreach initiatives, strengthening our team while continuing to grow as innovators. Watching them evolve from eager learners into confident contributors perfectly captures why we believe in giving back through mentorship.

Through every workshop, competition, and late‑night debugging session, one thing became clear: when young minds are supported, challenged, and encouraged, they don’t just build robots—they build futures.
