Empowering Young Innovators: Our Outreach at Lakshya International School

Innovation begins with curiosity—and at Lakshya International School, we witnessed how quickly that curiosity can turn into creativity when students are given the right tools. Over the course of a two-day outreach program, our team introduced young learners to the foundations of PictoBlox, visual coding, and the exciting possibilities of integrating AI into block-based programming.

Through interactive, hands-on sessions, we guided students step by step—starting with understanding how PictoBlox works, progressing to building logical workflows, and finally exploring how AI models can enhance simple projects. Students applied these concepts by designing logic-based games, transforming abstract ideas into functioning creations while learning core computational thinking skills.

To push creativity even further, we launched a Game Development Challenge, encouraging students to innovate beyond the basics. The enthusiasm and originality on display were remarkable. The top three projects were selected to represent Lakshya International School at Codeavour 7.0, giving young innovators the opportunity to showcase their ideas on a global platform.

Inspired by the students’ energy and eagerness to learn, we took this initiative a step further. Building on the workshop, we began developing a structured PictoBlox and AI optimization course. This resource is designed to support continued learning at Lakshya International School and to serve as a scalable model for future outreach programs, helping us extend sustainable STEM education across our community.

This outreach reinforced our belief that true impact comes not just from teaching—but from creating long-lasting learning pathways. By empowering students with skills, confidence, and global opportunities, we continue our mission to inspire the next generation of innovators—one classroom at a time.
