Team Insight

We are Team #28130 – Gujarat Tech Titans, the first FIRST Tech Challenge team from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, representing RFL Academy. Driven by curiosity, creativity, and collaboration, we are passionate about engineering, innovation, and problem-solving through robotics.

Our team comprises 16 dedicated students, each contributing expertise in robot design, CAD, programming, electronics, construction, documentation, media, and outreach. By combining these diverse skills, we build competitive robots while fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning.

We follow a structured and iterative engineering process—beginning with CAD-based design and prototyping, and progressing through testing, coding, and refinement. We believe a successful robot is not merely built, but thoughtfully designed, carefully documented, and continuously improved through analysis and discussion.

Beyond competition, we actively engage in STEM outreach by conducting workshops, demonstrations, and media initiatives to inspire younger students and the community. In our rookie season, we were honoured with the Connect Award at the FTC Asia Pacific Open Championship and the Motivate Award at FTC India Nationals, alongside strong on-field robot performance.

Through FTC and the guidance of FIRST Core Values, we strive to grow not only as engineers, but also as leaders, innovators, and well-rounded problem-solvers prepared to make a meaningful impact.
